At work I have to dial 9 to get outside of the company numbers. The other day I was calling out to a customer when all the sudden I hear "911 what is your emergency".... hum.
"I'm sorry I dialed the wrong number"
"So just to verify........................you have no emergency?"
"Nope. I'm just an idiot"
I had to promise I was not in distress quite a few times and give them my phone number and address in case for some reason I decided at a later point I did, in fact, have an emergency.
